Who we are

Growthpointpro is a tattoo studio on 82 Ave in Edmonton. We work with people who want body art that actually means something to them—not flash off the wall, not trends that fade with the season, but designs built around personal stories and ideas.

The artists here have spent years developing their craft. Some came up through traditional apprenticeships. Others studied fine art before picking up machines. What they share is a belief that tattoos should be collaborative. You bring the meaning. We bring the skills to translate it into something you'll want on your skin permanently.

Edmonton has a growing community of people who take body art seriously. We're proud to be part of that. Our clients range from first-timers getting small meaningful pieces to collectors adding to sleeves they've been building for years.

We also do cover-ups and restoration work. Sometimes people outgrow old tattoos or inherit faded work that needs refreshing. That's fine. Art evolves. So do people.

What drives us

Every tattoo we do is permanent. That sounds obvious, but it shapes everything about how we work. We don't rush consultations. We don't pressure decisions. A piece that takes three sessions to get right is better than one that takes three hours but misses the mark.

Our purpose is straightforward: help people express who they are through body art they're genuinely proud of. Not everyone wants a tattoo for the same reason. Some mark milestones. Some honor people they've lost. Some just love the aesthetic. All of it is valid, and all of it deserves the same level of care.

We want clients to leave feeling like they collaborated on something, not like they received a service.

What we stand for

Collaboration over transaction

A tattoo isn't something we do to you. It's something we make with you. That means listening more than pitching, asking questions, and sometimes pushing back when we think an idea could be stronger.

Craft takes time

Good work isn't fast work. We'd rather book fewer appointments and do them well than cram in volume. Some pieces need multiple sessions. That's not a problem—it's the process.

Honesty about limitations

Not every idea translates well to skin. Not every placement ages gracefully. We'll tell you when something won't work and help find alternatives. Better to have that conversation upfront than regret it later.

Respect for what it means

People trust us with things that matter to them. Memorial pieces. Cultural symbols. Marks of survival. We take that seriously, even when the subject matter seems simple on the surface.

How we got here

A few moments that shaped the studio

Founding

Opening on 82 Ave

The studio launched in Edmonton's Whyte Ave area with a small team and a clear focus: custom work over walk-ins, quality over speed.

Early growth

Building the artist roster

We brought in artists with different specialties—realism, geometric, blackwork, fine line. Clients started coming specifically for certain styles, which told us we were on the right track.

Expansion

Adding piercing services

Clients kept asking. We added professional piercing to the studio, applied the same standards we use for tattoos: clean work, proper aftercare guidance, no rushing.

Recognition

Becoming a destination studio

People started booking from outside Edmonton. Some drove hours. That felt like validation—not because we chased it, but because the work spoke for itself.

Present day

Continuing the work

Still here. Still focused on the same things. Every piece is a chance to do something meaningful with someone who trusts us to get it right.

The studio

We're located at 10355 82 Ave NW in Edmonton. The area has good energy—shops, restaurants, people who appreciate creative work. You can find parking nearby without too much hassle.

Our hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 8 PM. That gives flexibility for people with day jobs to come in after work. Consultations can often happen on shorter notice; actual tattoo sessions should be booked ahead.

If you want to reach us, call +1 780-555-4412 or email [email protected]. We respond to inquiries within a day or two. For booking, we'll want to talk through your idea first—either in person or by phone—before putting anything on the calendar.
